Show Me State...of the Union

An allegation of the shooting of an unarmed teenager who has recently graduated from high school An allegation the shooting was warranted...elements of self-defense...an officer under attack Reaction is incredible...outrage...injustice...protests...rioting...looting...more shootings A nation torn apart as the reaction breeds reaction breeds more reaction and breeds more reaction Meanwhile, our community struggles to make sense of a youngster killed by an errant bullet from an armed conflict A road rage situation turns into a shooting incident Two innocent Amish girls are abducted, assaulted, left to wander A world at war The rioting and looting in the state in which a civilian/police incident is concerning Protesting alleges the murder of an innocent teenager Protesting includes looting and theft and arson of innocent businesses The evidence of people making their own point against others making their own point The motto for the State of Missouri is "The Show Me State" Willard Duncan Vandiver uttered those words in 1899...he needed evidence of action There is plenty of action. The Show Me State? How about "get a grip...we have a lot of problems...let's work together to solve those problems"
